Program Options & Daily Routine
Apple Orchard Preschool is a mixed-age program that serves children ages 2 1/2 to 5 years old. Children's learning is enriched in a mixed-age classroom, where younger children learn by observing and playing with older peers, while older children strengthen their confidence and skills by sharing their knowledge with younger classmates.
Play is the highest expression of human development in childhood, for it alone is the free expression of what is in a child’s soul.

Indoor/Outdoor Play
Classroom activities. Outdoor area open after everyone has arrived, weather permitting.

Morning Group
Songs and stories.
10:30 - 11:00
Snack Time
Handwashing and a snack.
11:00 - 12:15
Garden Play
Outdoor exploration, sandbox, gardening, and large motor and art activities.
12:15 - 12:45
Lunch
Washing up and eating lunch together.
12:45 - 1:00
Afternoon Group
Songs, stories, and goodbyes for the day.
